Saku Sysiö graduated from the Lahti Institute of Design as an Industrial Designer in 2005. As part of his preparation, Sysiö also studied in Denmark at the School of Design. Since 2007 Sysiö has worked in the design agency Aivan as a founding member and partner.

Saku’s main area of expertise is in product design, with a special interest in furniture and spatial design. His approach on all projects is uncompromised and straightforward. Timeless aesthetics and functionality are key elements in Saku’s design work. Saku’s designs are always distinctively minimalistic, but his love for great craftsmanship and details is always evident.
